1. Clothing, media, and small toys are accepted by appointment only. An appointment is NOT required for furniture, baby equipment, or large toys. Just give us a call at (814) 836-0123 to schedule your appointment. Please be aware that you may have to wait 4-6 weeks for an appointment at our peak times.
2. You may bring in up to 50 items at one appointment. This usually means one large bin or two small bins. Please follow the directions given in How to Prepare Your Items for Consignment (see below).
3. Snowsuits in July? Tank tops in November? Because our store features off-season storage, we love out of season items!
4. Payment Policy (a.k.a. the fun part!):
   1. You earn 50% of the selling price for furniture and equipment and 40% of the selling price for all other items as long as your items are prepared according to our guidelines.
   2. Items that have not sold after a minimum of 60 days of display are discounted or donated to local charities. (Items priced over $15 may be designated for return to consignor if requested.)
   3. We send you a check 4 times per year. If your account balance is less than $10, it will accrue until the next check date or can be paid out in cash. A detailed report of your sold and/or available items can be requested at any time.
   4. If you agree to be paid with store credit instead of by check, you receive 50% of the selling price for ALL of your consigned items, not just furniture and equipment. In addition, you get online account access for free!

Preparing Your Items

Taking the extra time to make your items look great can mean more money for you! Please limit your number of items/outfits to 50 at one appointment.

Clothing

• Clothing should be in-style, freshly washed (dry cleaned or ironed if necessary), and ready to sell.
• We don’t accept anything that is soiled, stained, pilled, broken, recalled, etc. Examine your items closely. It may also help to look over clothing in fluorescent light.
• Clothing should be placed on white or clear "giveaway" hangers. The hook of the hanger should open to the left, looking like a question mark. Please fasten all buttons and snaps. You can get hangers at the store prior to your appointment. If you do not get in to pick up hangers ahead of time and would like to hang your items at the time of your appointment, please lay your clothing items flat. Do not fold them.
• Feel free to make outfits out of different-brand tops and bottoms. Outfits have a better chance of being selected for consignment
  

Baby Equipment and Furniture

• Baby equipment and furniture must have all of their pieces and parts.
• Be sure to wipe everything down and launder any removable fabric.
• We also love it if manufacturer’s documentation is included. Manuals can often be downloaded and printed from the manufacturer's website.

Toys

• Toys must be clean and have all of their pieces and parts.
• Tape boxes shut once all pieces are accounted for, especially for puzzles and games.
• Bag play sets with their corresponding parts.
